You can understand English, so I'll say it in English. I read that the first batch of CE's isn't delayed, so if any Dutchy is getting a copy of the first batch, he'll/she'll get it on time. Nobody knows.

Hmmm, when I posted a separate thread about this, it wasn't even because of any delay. But it certainly would help. It seems like the keys should at least be extended until Monday night, since players who are getting the game shipped almost certainly won't have it before then (even if there wasn't a delay!)

Here, here! If product is delayed, the pre-order should be extended even more.

I do understand that not everyone getting the Collector's Edition necessarily has a pre-order key, but probably most of them do. More importantly, the players who got pre-order keys along with the Collector's Edition are likely die-hard fans who most want to play when the game first comes out, obviously.

Just checked my orders again from EBgames.com and my status is now under "Processing" which according to EBgames.com - Help Desk:
"After an order is processed, the time of delivery is determined by the shipping method. See the "Shipping" section for shipping methods and delivery times."

So if all goes well, I'll be waiting 5-10 days (GAH) until release, which I PRAY is the day it comes out *makes sign of the cross*. UNLESS it doesn't mention anything about the delay and the delay still remains, then I'm praying to God to wtfpwnsmite these fools and slaves of the devil...

Have yet to recieve my Pre-Order Pack though, so I'm feeling, I don't know, ticked. Lol.

I got an e-mail from Amazon today about the delay. At first they were giving me an ETA of 5/10. Now they're saying 5/3. Maybe with the first one they wanted to shock me so with the second one, I'd be relieved. I can live with 5/3 I guess.

Oh I did check and it's still sitting there. I ordered fairly late though (3/23) since I was originally planning on going to a local store. But employee incompetance and the free overnight shipping coupon being valid again made me order from Gamestop. I'm guessing they're shipping them out starting with whomever ordered first too.

Hmm, I've ordered from gameplay, I've no word of a delay and my order has not yet shipped. Mind you I really don't expect it to till Monday at the earliest.

What would be a solution if the CE buyers (like me) won’t get the game on time?

Just a few ideas...

1. Would it be possible to extend the pre-order key for a few more days?
2. Give the shops "short-term-keys" for those who pre-ordered and won’t get the game on time?

I think this would be possible because we all paid a price to pre-order, some of us just a small amount and some the whole price. Since we all paid (and therefore the shops got money) y not take one of my solutions?

Just an idea, I would like to know what ANet/ NCSoft representatives have to say to this...

EDIT: I really need to post more, my status as "Town Dweller" really does not sound good.

I had the manager of a gamestop down here PERSONALLY tell me he will be getting my CE edition guaranteed on the 28th and that if there are any problems to just ask to talk to him. We'll see how that goes. Whether it really happens or not, it's the thought that counts.

To question #1

Pre-order keys now give you the 2 Slots and an extended grace period of 10 days.
If you still do not have the CE after the 10 days grace period, the 2 slots will be locked and you won't be able to travel to cantha BUT the characters on the 2 slots will NOT be deleted and will be unlocked when you get your CE

You're wrong Krait.

The pre-order keys do give you two slots for the head start. Where you wrong is after that. The head start is still 48 hours, no longer. You will not have access to Cantha and related characters after 48 hours without a retail key. Any characters created in those 48 hours will remain tied to your account for 10 days and if you enter in a retail key within those 10 days, you will again gain access to those toons. If you dont enter a key within 10 days, those toons are deleted permenantly.

Great, now I'm even MORE screwed! If Factions isn't delayed, and I'm not lucky enough to recieve the CE in time my Head Start-created characters are gone? Stupid USA Value shipping...

Question: After this headstart, is your account completly shut down? Can you access your characters at all? Or must you have the Factions Access Key in order to play with your Prophecies characters AFTER the headstart? (Be it if I even recieve the pre-order package in time for this head start...)
